Fitted wardrobes
in Burgess Hill.
Truegrain Carpentry offers fitted wardrobes in Burgess Hill and across Mid Sussex. Share your room, rough measurements and storage ideas with Tom Hale to discuss the layout and finish.

A place for everything.
Start with what you store.
Think about your clothes and daily routine before choosing a layout. These three starting points give Tom a useful picture of what you need.
Hanging space
Count the items you hang and note any long coats or dresses. Tell Tom whether you share the wardrobe and how you would like the space divided.
Shelves
Think about folded clothes, bags and boxes. Send approximate sizes for anything that needs its own shelf.
Drawers
List smaller items you would like to keep out of sight. Discuss how the drawers would work alongside hanging space and shelving.
Planning your

Before you enquire
What if my room has a sloping ceiling?
Send a photograph that shows the ceiling and the wall together, plus the height at the lowest and highest point. Sloping ceilings are common in loft rooms, and Tom can discuss how the layout would work before anything is settled.
Do I need exact measurements?
No. Rough width, height and depth are enough to start. Say where you measured, because floors, ceilings and walls are rarely perfectly straight. Tom takes the final fitting measurements himself.
Can I discuss the storage inside?
Yes, and it is worth doing early. Tell Tom what you need to hang, fold and keep in drawers, and whether the wardrobe is shared. The inside shapes the layout as much as the doors do.
How do I choose a finish?
Send a photograph or reference for the look you like, such as a painted finish or natural oak. Mention the colours already in the room. Talk it through with Tom before you ask for a quote.
Tell Tom what you have in mind.
Send photographs, rough dimensions and your postcode to start the conversation.
